You pay Govee for the lights and us for the installation, nothing hidden. Price depends on roofline length and layout. We measure and give you a locked, written quote.

Choose how it's mounted: the hardware that comes in the Govee kit, every light drilled and screwed in, or color-matched aluminum track. FAQ
Permanent lighting questions
Can you see the lights during the day?
With a standard or screwed-in install the lights are small and sit in a straight line just under the roofline, so they're visible up close but low-profile from the street. Want them hidden? The channel-track install puts them in a color-matched aluminum channel that disappears in daylight.
How do I control them?
From a phone app. Pick colors and scenes, set schedules (on at dusk, off at bedtime) and save presets for each holiday. We set everything up and walk you through it before we leave.
Can I buy the lights myself?
Yes, and you keep Govee's warranty in your name. Just wait until after we measure so you buy the right kit and length. Govee runs frequent sales, so you may pay less than list price.
Why pay for install instead of doing it myself?
Govee lights come with adhesive stickers for DIY. In Texas heat, rain and wind, adhesive can let go, and lights sag, fall into gutters or blow off in a storm. A pro install gets straight lines, clean corners, tucked wiring and proper power. For the strongest hold, choose our screwed-in install: every light drilled and screwed in.
Do you use the adhesive strips that come in the box?
Not if you choose our screwed-in or channel-track install: every light is drilled and screwed in. Adhesive is fine for a weekend DIY project, but it doesn't hold up as well to Central Texas summers and storms. We'll tell you honestly which option fits your home at the free measure.
Can I still get the classic warm white look?
Yes. Warm white is one of the presets. Many homeowners run it every night and switch to color for holidays and game days.
How is this different from seasonal Christmas lights?
Seasonal lights are installed before the holidays and removed after (we offer that too, with the lights included). Permanent lights stay up and change with every holiday, with no yearly install or takedown.
What does permanent lighting cost?
Two parts: the Govee lights you choose (Govee's own price, about $280 to $860 for most homes) plus our installation. Installs start at $4 per foot ($400 minimum) with the hardware that comes in the kit, $5 per foot with every light screwed in, or $8 per foot with color-matched aluminum track. Two-story homes and tall fronts add $0.50 per foot. Your price depends on roofline length, height and how it's mounted. We measure for free and give you a locked, written quote.
What brand of lights do you install?
Govee permanent outdoor lights only: Lights 2, Pro, Prism, or the new 2 Pro. You pick the model. Buy it yourself from Govee, Amazon, Costco or Best Buy, or we'll order it for you at Govee's price.
What warranty do I get?
Govee's manufacturer warranty is registered in your name, so you're covered directly by Govee for product defects. We also back our installation with our own workmanship warranty, and we service every system we install.
Why not just buy a kit and install it myself?
You can, and the kits are good. What you pay us for is the finish and the durability: straight runs, clean corners, tucked wiring, power planning, the option to have every light screwed in, and a crew that comes back if anything needs attention.
